Tadori opens with a short placement check so you can skip what you already know. You can leave it at any point and start from the beginning instead - nothing is locked behind finishing it.
Reviews and scheduling
Vocabulary, kanji, grammar and kana share one spaced-repetition queue, so everything due on a given day arrives together. Reminders only fire on days you actually have reviews waiting.
Your data
Your progress is stored on your iPhone, and studying needs no account. Signed out that is the only copy, so deleting the app deletes it, though it is included in an encrypted iOS device backup if you have one enabled. Signing in with Apple is optional and keeps a copy of your progress so it survives a lost phone; you can delete that copy from inside the app and your iPhone keeps its own. How much content is there?
Less than the finished product will have, and the table on the home page gives the count for every level. No level is complete yet.
